French artist JR gives us a real taste of the outer suburbs of Paris with this video on the urban exhibition “28 millimeters”....The photos were taken just before the 2005 French riots that stuck Montfermeil. We can’t get enough of the raw energy of this work.
Since then, JR has extended his project worldwide, most notably in South Africa, Cambodia and India. Recently he has been working on an exhibition featuring the women of the Favela Providencia in the Casa Franca in Rio.
