Veja's organic cotton is produced in the North of Brazil, one of the country's poorest areas. Food crops and cotton sets are grown without manure nor pesticides, according to agro-ecology principles.200 families live on organic growing and work according to fair trade principles. Cotton sets are spun to be put in the cotton reel and prepared for the fabric of Veja trainers.
