The Veja collection of kids trainers is now available with a new velcro fastening. Handy and giving more autonomy to children, the velcro Veja Small are available in ecological leather and suede.

Last March, Veja launched a collection of ecological trainers for kids, made from organic cotton canvas and wild rubber from the Amazon.

The Fall Winter 08 Veja Small collection is pop coloured and made from ecological leather and suede, tanned with acacia extracts.

Kids can now have their own Veja sneakers!

Launching Veja Small, for kids aged 2 to 10 year old. The Veja Small are inspired by the Veja Tauá collection, made from organic cotton and natural rubber from the Amazon.

The collection is available from the end of March.

Two years ago, Veja met Villaget, a Brazilian NGO working to promote social justice. The association helps young people of a poor neighbourhood in Porto Alegre, South Brazil, to get work opportunities. Instead of spending idle time on the streets, youngsters get a free professional training in shoe creation.

They go to school in the morning and they learn how to make shoes in the afternoon. Olders teach basic knowledge of design, shoe modelling and confection to youngers.
